In cooperation with the Graduate School in Oslo, the Juma Al Majid Centre for Culture and Heritage in Dubai organized a virtual lecture titled "The Role of the Arabic Manuscript in Integrating Ancient Cultural Sources: The As'adi Treasury as a Model". The lecture was presented by Dr. Mina Mounir, Director of the Manuscripts Research Centre at the Graduate School in Oslo - Norway. The lecture aimed to highlight the pivotal role played by the Arabic manuscript in absorbing the linguistic and intellectual traditions of the ancient Middle East. Dr. Mounir reviewed the experience of the "Al-Assal family" in the 13th century, explaining their contribution to transforming the Arabic manuscript into a tool for intellectual communication among multiple languages.
