The Norwegian police announced on Wednesday the arrest of three brothers of Iraqi origin on suspicion of involvement in a 'terrorist bombing' that occurred at the end of the week at the entrance to the US Embassy in Oslo. The explosion caused minor damage but no injuries. As stated at a press conference by Police Attorney General Christian Hatlo, the brothers were arrested in Oslo, and the police are investigating to uncover the motive. He added: 'This is completely natural considering the target was the US Embassy, and the security situation.' He continued: 'We are still working from different hypotheses,' noting that one of these hypotheses is the possibility that the act was carried out 'on the orders of a government body'.
