The Norwegian government plans to increase its assistance to Ukraine by 50 billion Norwegian kroner (4.2 billion euros) by 2025. This announcement was made by the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ine Eriksen Søreide. According to the minister, the increase in assistance to Ukraine will strengthen democracy, the rule of law, and sustainability. These funds will be directed towards projects aimed at improving the livelihoods of Ukrainians, including support for infrastructure, healthcare, and education. "Norway is ready to increase its assistance to Ukraine to support the country in its efforts for reform and development," emphasized Ine Eriksen Søreide. The current level of Norwegian aid to Ukraine amounts to about 35 billion Norwegian kroner annually. The increase in this sum demonstrates Norway's commitment to supporting Ukraine.
