The Norwegian company '1X' has announced the start of sales of the NEO Home Robot, an AI-powered robot that can serve as a home assistant. The company unveiled its robot for the first time last August, and since then has introduced many modifications and improvements to it, enabling it to perform its tasks with greater accuracy. This robot is designed to be human-like and is equipped with a movement system called Tendon Drive, which is based on artificial tendons, allowing it to lift objects weighing up to 25 kg. The robot can perform various household chores, such as cleaning, washing dishes, loading and unloading laundry from the washing machine and folding it, and can also be relied upon to tidy up the house, water plants, and other daily tasks. NEO is about 1.68 meters tall and weighs 30 kg. Thanks to AI technologies, it can learn, understand user commands, and complete tasks accurately. It can also connect to 5G and Wi-Fi networks, allowing the user to give it commands remotely. The robot is equipped with two 8-megapixel cameras, four microphones, and speakers that enable it to recognize speech and voice commands and interact with them. It is equipped with a battery that lasts for four hours on a single charge, and when the battery level drops, it automatically returns to the charging station to recharge. This robot will be available in three colors: white, blue, and black, and its price will be $20,000.
